Cànnabis: Cannabis is perhaps the most consumed drug in Spain, only behind legal substances such as alcohol, tobacco and hypnotics. In 2012, according to the Ministry of Health, 9.6% of the Spanish population took it on occasion. Its most known derivatives are marijuana and hashish.
Cocaine: In our country, according to the latest survey by the Ministry of Health, 2.3% of the population snorted or otherwise consumed cocaine during 2012 on at least one occasion.
Èxtasi: At present, its consumption continues very in vogue, throughout the country and under different appearances. In 2012, 0.7% of the Spanish population consumed at least one dose of this drug that, despite its sometimes childish appearance, can cause death.
Amfetamines / Speed: Amphetamines. Anfetas. Speed. These are the three most common names for one of the oldest known drugs of synthesis. The insomnia drug. The one that used in 2012 the 0.6% of the Spanish population, only one tenth less than the ecstasy.
Al·lucinògens: The hallucinogenic substances are numerous, although their consumption is residual if we compare it with all the previous ones. The Ministry of Health estimates its intake in 0.4% of the Spanish population.
Magic Mushrooms: Health places in 0.4%, as in the case of hallucinogens, their intake during the last year with respect to the total of the Spanish population.
Ketamine: This is a dissociative drug with hallucinogenic effects used as an anesthetic and analgesic in veterinary medicine.
